OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

Your saying one of your bcm's killed another maran? Oh, wow! I'm so sorry. How old are the little grays? Hope you find the rest. Nothing so discouraging!!
The little ones where all 3 months, he was about 6 months. He has been a great rooster, I been giving him a little freedom the past few days and I guess somehow that just made him mean! Its heartbreaking to have seen that happen though. I am a little discouraged to even get anymore chickens until we get things comfortable. Between losing some other animals and then to see that tonight I am getting a little discouraged

I looked up this breed and they are gorgeous! Do you sell these? I wonder if anyone will have any at the swap.

And love your cute pics!!
I do have a bunch of SFH. They are growing out right now and range from 13ish weeks to 8 weeks. I've got some that should hatch tonight and tomorrow also. If most or all of those hatch I will probably bring some. I've got 22 eggs in there right now. I'll post chick pics if they hatch.

Yayyay. :D Been dying to get my hands on some sfhs.

I have a bunch of 10 week old and younger male "true" Araucana chicks for sale for pickup only in north central Ohio. None of them are standard colors--there's wild type, birchen wild type splits, and a wheaten wild type split. All are rumpless and hatched from blue eggs. Two are tufted.

To my way thinking, life is too short to put up with mean or aggressive birds, or crazy flighty ones either for that matter. Give me good Brahmas, and you have no idea that those kind of problems were even possible.

This is Cora, the Americauna, taking her little chicks for a stroll. I don't have the heart to tell her that I switched eggs on her and these are not her biological offspring. She thinks they are!

Thanks Brian her son just turned 4 so no go carts yet. The neighbor on the other side runs the radio so loud that her house vibrates. Now, she lives in the country so houses are not close together. My daughter isI just a Little thing five ft tall, but when she got divorced she did go get a concealed carry permit. Her ex has PTSD and loses control easily (that's part of the reason for the split). Until the lawsuit with the property lines gets settled, she doesn't want to do anything. But, just wait, she's an ornery little thing, she will get her pay backs. I can't believe they ever messed with her in the first place. Ex hubby is ex Marine and about six two.

Urg, came home and apparently my garage roof decided to leak right above a brooder. One little baby died and my kids are outside right now drying everyone off. This is on top of working 11 hours and having to go buy chicken food because apparently the cool thing to do is wait until mom is super tired and can't see straight before telling her that the food is basically out. My husband had set up for a friend to take our kids out for the day so I can catch up on sleep and studying and they ended up backing out on him so he had to drop them off at my moms and didn't bother telling me until after I got off.

Sorry...... Really bad day today already. :(
