OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

about the rhodebars? if so yes, and im trying to make some room.

several of you have asked me about me black copper french marans.  im starting over, the pair i have right now needs a large area to run.  they are in "breeding condition" she is laying, but they break the eggs almost instantly.  she lays a decently dark egg, when she first started in the spring it was a 9 on the darkness scale, but a little lighter now.  i have $75 in this pair, but due to the egg breaking im willing to take much less - if anyone is interested.  they are from bev davis lines.

i also have 5 turkeys for sale, 3 heritage bronze toms, 2 blue slates (might be tom and hen, or 2 toms) they would be great to finish out for thanksgiving.
there is a free pair of exhibition bred dark brown leghorns, she has never laid. not sure if the problem is her or me.
the c.k. whites and c.k. blacks are for sale
a pair + an extra rooster of buckeyes, again from show stock but im starting over. for some reason i get way to many roosters out of their hatchings.

then i have a few mixed breeds that i hatched for someone else and were never picked up. they are about half grown and will be sold for about the cost of the feed that went in them.
Yes, the rhodebars. Just wanted to make sure. I'm thinking of trading him my lavender orps for some more crested cream legbars. IDK yet though.

I have a friend who is looking for some hens and a roo. He doesn't care what kind. Just wants some chickens and eggs. Are you bringing these to the swap, or would you sell them before? I also may be interested in the French copper marans. You can pm me with prices. Thanks!

Just a reminder, the little swap across the road from Caesar Creek flea market is this Sunday. Will be bringing some young Brahmas if I get them sorted out.

what time does it start and end? How old are your Brahmas?
Sellers will start showing up about 7 or so, usually wraps up early afternoon, some die hards may stick it out a little longer.

The youngsters will vary anywhere from April hatches and younger. Mostly some of my project birds that may be slightly off colored, or off patterned (a few not so slight) and so forth.

Will about 11:30 - 11:45 be to late? We get out of church about 11. I have some the same age, April thru june 1st. They would fit in. We have a friend who is looking for chickens. He will be interested. I'm looking for pullets. No roos if possible. I just had 7 roos processed this morn. I don't want anymore than the 2 I kept.

Hard to say, definitly not any too early. Last time I set up, I believe I was down to a single cockerel by that time of day. Although the last couple of swaps, I went down to look around and mostly socialize, they said selling was kinda slow, so you might be alright.

How can you say you don't want any more cockerels when ya haven't seen mine yet ?
