OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

i need to get one, i keep getting buff cochins and lemon cuckoo cochins mixed up.  and my wife sold 20 basque as buff orpingtons, when the people realized what they had gotten, no amount would buy them back.
whoops, sounds like you definitely need one! but those customers were really thrilled!

I have only had chickens fir about a year & a half. Started out with 26, 3 weeks later added 13 more.
Was getting too many eggs, sold off 27, down to 12.
Had a broody hen this spring decided to try to hatch, 100% hatch & I was hooked!!!
Am now up to 62, built a new coop & run this spring.
Bought a new coop to use for CCL bedding.
Looking for a "12 step" chicken program.
I am not addicted to chickens, I am not addicted to chickens, I am not addicted to chickens. *sigh*

When hubby builds his new barn I get the entire leanto for my chickens : ) (chicken math)

well so far this morning we had 8 chicks with three more pips and last one was chirping in the egg. Set 14 eggs and 2 were infertile so 12 left and it looks like they are all going to hatch! Thus broody has had some awesome hatches this year!

Well my choc silkie eggs are at the post office. Now I just have to wait for the call to see how many 10+ is :) I put. Half of the frizzle eggs in but I misplaced my dividers so I figured I'd just wait until this morning for the rest.

Just curious does anyone have any Aracucana hatching eggs? Looking for some pretty blue eggs to add to the flock.

Well I had some. The flock I was going to sell you, I had second thoughts about and kept. They've been laying like crazy all summer. Now, suddenly no eggs for a week. I put eggs from another pen in their coop to see if they got eaten, but no. So they are either are hiding them really well in the run or something else is stealing them. Sigh. If I get to the bottom of it, I'll bring some eggs to the swap. I do have eggs from a blue pair, but I have no idea about fertility. I can bring them along as freebies if you're interested.

. You have a good start!! Once you get started, there's no stopping! When you see other breeds, you will not be able to resist!! We have chairs under a tree that we sit in to watch our flock!

Does anyone here use PDZ in their coops? I looked at it at tsc in the equine isle, but I didn't have time to see if it was for chickens or not. I searched it on byc and I saw where it was called "sweet pdz". Is there a difference, that you know of?
