OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

Thank you ShayBaby!

Yes, their should be no need for this ordinance as long as folks doesn't infringe on neighbors or their rights: Common sense and courtesty should dictate (although we all know that rarely happens). I could completely see the city instituting limits on how many animals of each type per acre and limiting or banning roosters as those things make sense from a city planning standpoint. However, a blanket ban when the smallest lot is typically well over 3/4 acre is silly: My sister has 3 acres at her place.

I also grew up "in town" where the lots were around 1/4 acre or much smaller and their were no livestock type animals allowed. I have always wanted property and animals and now at 44 finally have them....a lot of them...lol. The chicken math got me first, then the waterfowl equations, followed by the turkey trig! I would end up a crazy old pigeon lady who sits in the park and feeds birds all day every day if I ever had to get rid of them all!

Have a great day and thanks again!
i agree fully with you. I signed it

Of the adorable variety. :p

4/4 that made it to lockdown are hatched and well. :D I had planned to bring most to the swap to appease DH, but he's surprisingly into this hatch as much as I am. I may just get to keep them. Muahaha.
3 whites and one dark. These 3 are very photogenic lol. The other is camera-shy.

I posted about the swap on CL and I had a gentleman who needs some pullets, (poor guy has 5 roos and 2 hens!) He is looking for blue/green layers or/and hatching eggs. I wasn't sure if anyone was bring them.

Looking forward to the swap =)

I'm bring a pair or trio of EE. They will lay very very blue eggs. Several generations in on those. They are 12 weeks now and will be 13weeks Sunday. The one I'm saying roo might be a pullet but I'm going with roo right now. I could collect up some eggs from my green layers if he wants too.

i will be bringing some hatching eggs, anything gathered since sunday. (2 days ago)

my wife and i are trying to decide on what to do, we may be selling our whole flock, but probably not at the swap - i dont think i have enough room in the truck

Omg! Are you restarting a flock or just getting out of raising chickens?
