So excited, locked down on 14 eggs today and 4 already shaking =) Then in 4 more days lock down for 8 more eggs though my shipped ones aren't looking too good =(

if i had one you'd be welcome but alas my oldest group of BBS ameraucanas turned out 6 pullets. I've got a pure black and pure blue growing plus a bunch of chocolate ameraucanas but they are to young to sex.

When you say pure black and pure blue, do you mean a solid black, or solid blue colored bird ?

no, I mean they are pure ameraucanas, not hatchery ameraucanas, which are EE. I've had so many people say they have Ameraucanas and they are hatchery EE.

I've got 2 black ameraucanas I put into lockdown last night! I'm hoping they both hatch as the other were 1clear, 1 cracked and 2 or 3early quitters and these are John blehm lines!

These are far from that stage where they are laying a blue egg, right now they lay some what of of a mint green egg. They've got a few generations before they hit blue eggs again.

Would still be interesting to see a silkie with green eggs lol

Good luck. I may go up and check mine lol. Almost to day 14. Very impatient this time. My broody hasn't hatched anything yet either. But she is becoming very protective of them lately.
