just an update on our situation here, it looks like we are moving our farm to camp creek road near lucasville.  things may change, but we found a little over 4 flat acres down there for sale and in our price range.  now we are looking for a descent mobile home to set on it - before we make any solid plans.

It's a shame you have to move, but sounds like a nice place. I feel ashamed that I live in Lucasville and had to mapquest that road. I didn't realize how big Lucasville is! Unless mapquest is on a 42 kick (dun dun dun..HHGTTG), you will still be exactly the same distance from me as current. Funny.
If that's what it comes to, I hope it goes smoothly for y'uns!

Yeah, he's a busy boy Ya know, moving bites (and ALL my sympathy -- ugh!!!) but I have to admit, 4 acres that you KNOW is yours and you can make plans and do whatever you want with sounds pretty darn lovely

You have probably already thought of this, but in case not -- one time when I was hoping to do pretty much the same (land and a modular home) and was looking around a bit, I found one good deal was the "end of season" lot models from modular home dealers -- when they're clearing out for the next-year's models, they're really pretty anxious to move those

Minihorse, that looks right to me! What are the white and pale silver ones? Pretty chicks!!!!

Just put 13 rhodebar, 6 sfh, 8 basque, and 3 isbars in lockdown -- a day early, but tomorrow I'm running away to Columbus overnight to visit friends. Making a cheesecake at the moment to take down with me. Mmmmm, cheesecake!

Do you see why I was so confused when I ended up with the dark one with the dot? The light colored ones hatched first and I tough, oh this is easy. That one threw me off but it's a half and half hatch. 5girls, 5boys so far.

Or are the two darker looking chicks on the left without dots pullets? This will drive me nuts until I get use to them.
