Wow, I'm still up. That was suppose to be butterbean earlier.
You know, when I was replying I had to use spellcheck and it apparently changed some of your words, because I didn't think that is what you said!

Wow, I'm still up. That was suppose to be butterbean earlier.
Let's hope!!Lol interesting idea! I'd be up for it!I only have one hen right now, since my sg eggs died.
I'll keep a sharp eye out for any others, preferably started, before spring!!![]()
Id loan you the blue silkie roo for a while for her. Lol
That way you could get some more SG for the two of you
If you breed them to a showgirl you can get more show girls. That's why i was going to let shay use my roo for her hen if she wanted. That way she coups get some more show girl chicks started before winter.Let's hope!!![]()
The others I'm getting from blessedchick are buff silkies. Can you use them to get showgirls?
Just say your not incubating anything else this year and then they will all drop the eggs. That's what happened here. Grow out pen had 6 eggs in it today!
see, it works! The grow out pen of course is mixed so I'm not hatching anything from it but it did work. The layers are going full force. Some are still even putting out a good number of eggs while molting!Worked here!!! After a dismal August and Sept laying-wise, everybody is suddenly going great guns! Go figure
I'd hatch 'em all but there's not muc demand for baby chicks this time of year and I can't possibly feed that many birds all winter!
My showgirl hens are laying, Ladies! If I know the demand is there, I can set some eggs...![]()
