Yay, I think I smell spring!
I know that lovely smell!*Sniff Sniff* Chicken poop, turkey poop, duck poop...all defrosting from the past 5 months. Yup, must be spring.
Ah, Thanks, Mini!! I feel more comfortable to hear that. I just didn't want to barge in and upset anyone since I'm not actually living there. But, living my 18 yrs. in one little town and traveling all over the state, hiking, biking and all.....you can't but leave a chunk of your heart and soul there. My friends & whole family live back there so it will always be Home! I'd love to run into an old friend in here, plus, make a whole lot of new ones! Thanks!!Welcome budgie, I don't care where your at now. It's all about where your from!
Ahhhhh......my friends think I'm nuts, but, I love the smells of spring. Especially in a barnyard....gets me excited for new chicks! And, I don't know why but I never mind cleaning pens or barns!!
Oh, and Silkie, I was looking where you were moving from....around Paris, OH down to Cambridge.....you are going down Southern Ohio way and it is soooooooooooooooo beautiful down there! Hubby and I used to ride our motorcycle through the southern Ohio area. We went looking for covered bridges and I used to go to the ski slopes down Zanesville way. Beautiful country to live in! Are you gonna be in a community or out in the countryside? I grew up a little over an hour, north of there.
Chardon is in Geauga county...not to far from Paris...Hate to say it, but never heard of it before today! Thank you I learned something new today!!I grew up in Coshocton County, have lived in & around Zanesville and in & around Newark. Also spent a little time in New Phila. Now headed to Cambridge. Paris is the furthest North I have lived & Fultonham is the furthest South. I've been as far East as Bellaire, which sits on the Ohio River just south of Wheeling & as far West as Newark. All has been in the Eastern half of the state though.
