OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

good morning!! I'm in Licking Cty as well but close to Knox Cty line. Welcome:D how many chickens do you have? How old and how long have you been raising chickens?
We have 26 pullets; 4 girls taking a break for a week, 7 girls not laying at all yet (we had severe pecking issues & couple sniffly girls right now)
This is our first flock, got in April and May. Just finished up our numbers last week.
I have 54 right now. Been raising on and off all my life. I posted a few pics on my intro. We just moved here (I'm from the area) a little over a year ago, so my flock is relatively young. I will be culling at least 13 roos tomorrow because of pecking issues. We got most of ours in April/May as well. I'm only getting 13-15 eggs a day right now, but some are just coming into laying age.

nice to meet you and see fellow nearby chicken farmers!! I can't wait for our girls to start.

The ad says the pullets are just starting to lay. I didn't ask the age when I called. I just asked if he split them up.
Here is a link to the ad.

I'm in Newcomerstown about 45 minutes from Caldwell and an hour from Akron and a little over an hour from the WV line. Also I'm not sure if they are LF or bantam. I will definitely ask that question as I want bantams also. Flying Nun Farm, I will be willing to get them and meet in Akron if you'll take 6. I can only take 4 and even 4 is causing a bit of an argument with " She who must be obeyed!"

I'd need LF over bantam so if they are bantam WVduckchick can take them. I'm curious if he breeds them or if he hatched from a hatchery. I'm working on talking my other half into more as well. Keep me posted on what answers you get.

My fingers type before my brain thinks sometimes. I really don't have room for them at this point, so I should bow out.

Hope yall find a way to get them though. From the description, I'd say they are LF anyway.

I'm hoping that if no one buys all 10, he will be more willing to split them up. But right now I noticed one of my girls is a little hoarse and I need to address that issue. I will keep all posted and thank you for your interest!
