OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

I get to boiling and make egg salad deviled eggs or just straight boiled eggs my kids will go thru a dozen in one breakfast scrambled. I also add em boiled to chicken salad, tuna salad, or potato salad. If all else fails start baking...lol

You can also freeze scrambled eggs or omelettes. Or make English muffin or biscuit sandwiches with cooked bacon or sausage and freeze them too. We no longer buy those expensive breakfast sandwiches or breakfast bowls at the store.

I have 4 ppl here but also 14 chickens and 9 ducks, possibly more once all grow up, that lay...if I didn't do something we'd be way over run...lol. I do have a brahma roo been thinking of separating my brahmas and runner ducks n Drake getting npip certified to sell chicks or hatching eggs.

I love my brahmas! If I hatch any it won't be til next spring when my girls are about a year old. I got mine at Rural King. He is still young but a big boy. Having trouble posting today or I would send a pic.

I'd have to have hens. I have some smaller girls and I already have 2 boys. (Only 8 weeks old but I know if temperament is good they will both stay) My first 2 roosters were around 7 & 8 lbs. I was worried for a few girls who are under 5 lbs. They aren't bantam just little. :) I'm in no hurry. I somehow doubled my flock this year. (Chicken Math!)
