OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

Hi fellow Ohioans! Does anyone know of a store near Cleveland stocking Cornish X? I keep striking out at local Tractor Supply stores.

I know I could do an online order from somewhere like Mt. Healthy, but we live in the city and only have space for 6-7 CX. Most hatcheries have a minimum order or a hefty small-order fee.

If anyone is also looking and would be willing to split an online order, I'm open to it...

Have you looked at Rural King? The one in Elyria had them awhile ago. They also had turkey poults and my son had to drag me away

Yeah, I called yesterday and they only had turkeys, guineas, and ducks unfortunately.

But maybe I should keep checking Rural King because it seems they have a little better stock than the TSCs. Even the Columbia Station TSC, which usually gets a ton of chicks in, is only getting infrequent shipments of about 50 birds. They go quickly.

Not surprised. With the price of eggs, everyone wants chickens now. I know there is a Rural King in Norwalk and Tiffin also. Haven't been to those in over a year, though

Thanks but I think those are over an hour away for me. I'll keep calling around.

Also, if anyone in the area is willing to split a Cornish X mail order, I'm happy to.

I'm getting an order next weekend from Mt healthy of layer chicks, I wish I would have known, could have added them on. Looks like they're sold out for the next few weeks of meat chicks though.
I hope you find some! Have you checked Meyer? They do bin chicks sometimes, I wonder if they'd have any.
