Ohio National....Who's all going?

I read this to my husband and he laughed out loud.

We are traveling with teenagers. I now know to pack a LOT of food, and maybe even smuggled some extra from the continental breakfast....

Once you have eaten at the food concession at The OHIO NATIONAL you will never forget the experience. Nor will you ever recover financially. I suggest that you bring crusts of bread and stale water. It will be better than what you can buy there.
I have seen hungry people competing with the birds for scratch grain.

Then you can go out to dinner and select from a really nice group of resturants within walking distance of the host hotels. Really folks- I suggest that you bring a cooler with some cold sandwich fixins and beverages.
I like to have a snack about 9:30 and lunch about noon. Very partial to turkey and swiss on white. Be sure to invite me.

I was going to say the expensive kind, but I like your answer better.

I plan on getting over there to visit some Saturday.

Oh my gosh!!!! I know! I have a 13 year old boy that is a garbage disposal! He has been ordering adult meals for a couple years now. I have 3 more boys that will be teenagers at the same time. I don't think the girls are as bad.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! I wish Friday would hurry up and get here! My father and I are building a last minute 4X4 cage divided into 3 sections to take on the trip. After reading some of these posts, we will definitly be bringing our own food lol. Can't wait to meet some of you wonderful people and your birds! hope to see you all there:)

Also keep in mind it costs you $5 every time you go through the gate. So if you go to Mc Donalds and get a $5 meal it costs another $5 to get back in. By the way that's the only place I have ever been that does that and I personally think it's a BIG RIP OFF!

Our KY state fairground does the same thing.... I don't think the show has anything to do with it. I also think it is not fair....

Hey Gary,
I'm glad you'll be able to make. Make sure you look us up, we'll be around Kay's jewelry table. See ya at the show!
