Oil Paintings..Beginners Post your paintings!

Thanks everyone for the wonderful advice...don't hesitate to call our what needs to be corrected in my painints. LOL It is the only way I will learn. I tell you from the paintings posted on here............makes me feel very inadequate at this stage. LOL Beautiful doesn't seem to be the correct word for the sketching and the paintings you all have posted on here.

These arent oil but Im a beginner painter. I did these a year ago and I havent painted since. I bought a small canvis last year to paint a halloween/fall painting. Well for some reason (it being fall) I wanted to pick it up again..
I had to look up in the closet for some papers for my dad and came across these...
They are not as NEAR as good as yalls but they are self taught...

Mostly Im practicing clouds (I want darker storm clouds), clouds, leaves, dry grass, "dead" trees etc

These I found I did about 6 years ago and if I do a halloween theme Id maybe like to combine them

First off I'd like to say I've enjoyed looking at all the wonderful painting and drawings, such talent...


I'd love to work with oils, my dad did, but I only have tried acrylics.

I used a blending medium withthis one. I love barns... this is on a gourd, about 18" tall.

right now I'm working on pumpkins...we do this every yr and sell them at the end of our driveway... We're in our 11th yr...

I do them in groups of 10-15 at a time.
