This is my first time with hatching eggs, and I think I have some that developed, but not quite sure. I candled with a flashlite and my hand cupped around the eggs, so this wasn't rocket science by any means
What I saw in a few of them was just the air sac, and the rest was solid black - I'm assuming that would be the chick, or could it be something else? Like a rotten egg? One was sloshy, so I know that is no good Clear through and through. These poor eggs had a rough trip here... Out of 12 only 8 made it in tact. Could that mean that they might be delayed in hatching due to the rough ride, if they hatch at all? Lastly, when I was candling the eggs, should anything have moved, or is there not enough room for rowdiness
I know when my mares get close to foaling there isn't much movement out of the foal because of space issues, so I'm assuming it would be the same way for a chick... Keep your fingers crossed for me and my little broody! If any hatch they will be frizzle EE's!!!
