Ok, silkies this week!

I need any additional pointers for hatching other then the normal hatching stuff. This is my 3rd hatch, but first one for silkies. I have 5 of 8 going into lockdown tomorrow.

Silkies were my very first hatch and seem to be no different from hatching other chicken eggs. I locked down 15 eggs and had 10 hatch. 3 of them had quit probably before I went into lockdown. I didn't candle all of the eggs because after looking into a few of them and not being able to see much, I assumed they were all like that. One egg lost because it couldn't hatch out and the other hatched out upside down and I think I had assisted too much. Lesson learned.
