Ok so a giant Roo was suddenly in my yard with my ladies Update OP

Yahoo! Time to breed some sexy chicks! Let your ladies get some good lovin! He obviously is a Playa and has moved on from the OLD hens and needs some younger action!!! LOL!

He's beautiful and he looks pretty healthy......Maybe somebody dropped him off because they couldn't bare for him to end up in the soup pot.....If he was nice to the girls, I'd keep him.....

Agreed, he definately looks like a Salmon Fav...I have an EE roo that could be his brother...

So upon inspection, his legs look fine and his comb has three prongs...

Should I call animal control to notify them I found a roo or just assume someone will look for it if they want it?
 
If he was dumped... it may be because whomever dumped him knew you were close by with chickens and figured he'd find you... some people just can't openly take an animal to the pound or admit they can't keep them so they do it by dumping. Only call animal control if you don't want him.


Oh, .. Salmon Fav's have 5 toes....
