Ok so a giant Roo was suddenly in my yard with my ladies Update OP

If he doesn't have a name yet, I would call him Fabio. Just saying, he looks like the chicken version of a romance novel.

Well if you notice the other hens names those came courtesy of my 4yo, she has dubbed him Ian. He gets a normal name and the poor girls get crazy names, LOL...

It is dusk and no one has looked for him yet. I am the only person (that I know of) in the little area that has chickens. I am in the county and just two streets over is city and poultry is specifically banned there so I not sure if they were hiding a flock or not. He is definitely loud, LOL.

You could always post something to your local Craigslist and probably a flyer at the shelter that says something like: "Found: stray rooster. Please email such and such an address with a description of your bird if you are missing one.". That way, anyone desperately searching for a pet roo could have a chance at being reunited. More than likely though, you now have one gorgeous bird! He's definitely a looker.
