OK to eat first eggs from our hens?

We ate our first egg and it was yummy! Now if we ever got a membrane egg or something I'd probably just give it to the pups.

As someone else said it was probably concerns about medicated chick starter. If you are not feeding them that I say eat up!!!

We eat the first eggs. I don't see why you wouldn't. If they're fully formed they should be fine, no different from next week's eggs.

I was told that you are supposed to throw it over your house for good luck that is why you are not supposed to eat the first egg.
