ok to feed popcorn to the chickens?

Is it ok to feed our girls popcorn that is popped?

If the popcorn killed him that fast, he likely choked on it. Not something that'd normally happen, but if it was going to happen, an old, blind rooster seems like a good candidate for it to happen to.

I've fed my flock leftover popcorn, both popped and unpopped for years with no issues. I don't have any old, blind roosters, though.

!! Whenever we have left over popcorn or just ANYTHING I give it to my chickens. They'll eat anything.

Am devastated me and my son just gave my landlords chickens some left over kettle corn not much. And the rooster of them i look over not 5 min after giving to them he is DEAD. HE WAS OLD AND SO OLD HE WAS BLIND. YALL did I kill the rooster

I did not think so. It is always possible, though. However, it is certainly possible that what they said happened did happen. That is not to say I feel the kettle corn killed the rooster. The salt could but not from a couple hands full for several birds.

It being an older post did not surprise me. There has been a lot of people getting caught up in these old post lately without realizing it.

If your posts are deleted and you didn't do it, then it was done by a mod.

You might check your alerts and see if there's an explanation there-- I've occasionally received explantions when posts of mine were deleted.

and yes it is fine they love it just make sure it's not heavy on the salt.
