Okay here we go again..I have a chick pic included page 4

I had only one cheep before it started pipping, such a delightful sound.

Okay we are hitting day 20 and we have 5 rocking chicks. I'm hoping for a pip tomorrow. They are all my cuckoos, I really hope I get a golden or wheaten but be glad for what I get.

I woke up this morning and WE HAVE A PIP!!!! It's just with one egg and it is really moving too. A little while ago I heard it cheeping too. I'm hoping for a few more but maybe I might have a baby by tonite.

I'm not sure if I have a problem here. The chick is breaking out of the bottom of the shell with it backend and legs. Is this normal? I'm not sure if it was in the air cell or not, I did hear a lil chirp from it. It is breathing and a lil liquid is seeping from it with no blood.

The chick I think is dead but I left it in the incubator. It's not moving at all. The other pip I have is chirping away but I am hopeful.

Have you tried to tap on the side of the bator? It could be resting?

It definitely not resting. I think honestly is was a little premature and hatched too early. It lost a lot of fluid from the egg. I do have others so I will hope on those. How long should I worry about it pipping? There is a nice crack about the size of a pea in the shell, membrane intact. It continues to chirp occasionally so at least I know it's alright.

I had to go into work for a few hours and since the census was down I got to go home. When I got home the pip is bigger and she is chirping away. THAT CHICKEE WANTS OUT! I'm hoping tonight I will see a baby.
