Howdeee! I've been on here for a while, but dormant due to lack of birds (stupid dogs!). But now.... just brought home 5 lovely fuzzybutts -- 3 Langshans, 2 Black Copper Marans. DH and I built the new SOOPER COOP last weekend (yes, I'll put pics etc on the coop spot) and have to put the roof on it and move it out of the garage to the barn area tomorrow. Happy Easter to me! and to my 11yo DD (who also buzzes around BYC occasionally with her own account). My signature line pretty much sums up family life here: DD, DH (the fabulous, incredible and wonderful carpenter/engineer extraordinaire) 2 (stupid- well, not really) dogs, and 1 elderly gimpy cat. For those who Know me, but don't know, I'm a massage therapist (15 yr) when I'm not hauling the talented/intelligent child to various activities. Who says the Engineering degree from Va Tech went to waste? I can dimension a drawing and choose a straight 2x4 with the best of em! LOL It's good to be "back" and welcome to all you true newbies out there! Here's hoping this lot of backyard ornaments/pets lasts for a good long while.
