We have a friend whose job is to maintain the big electron microscopes at UCONN. Maybe he could help?
Oh yeah. I could use that help. It's seems I've lost my mind and can't find it.
It's not very big so an electron microscope would be great. Sorta like finding
a contact lens in the ocean.
Ok back to work (warming up in van for a few minutes
) Burrrrr
It is brutal out there. I am home because DS's school has a teacher work day today and my mom had a big doctor's appt. and couldn't watch him. We were going to go to the Peabody Museum in New Haven with a friend but her older son is sick so we are home staring at the bator. Well, DS is building with Legos and I am staring at the bator....
maybe we should be looking for my mind as well.

My thermometer in eastern CT is reading 19 but the wind chill is a lot lower than that. I'm waiting for the noon weather report to find out, but I'm not sure I really want to know!
We aren't near that cold here today but I know about the wind. It blows here just about every day. A nice day here can be chilly just because of the wind. Well bundle up and try to stay warm. Be sure and count your toes at the end of the day.

You are going to try a staggered hatch? You were hooked before that bator and
eggs even showed up. You're gonna have to be careful now with those hatches.
The turner is going to have to come out on day 18 so you are gonna have to hand turn
those mutts until they reach day 18. The other thing is the higher humidity is
not good for younger eggs but critical for hatching the older ones. Optimally you
only want to open the bator once to add water on days 18 through hatch.
Anyone know if we can disable half a turner? Hmmm.
I do not really mind if staggering doesnt work.......I have to many eggs to eat right now....so stuck them in there..if they dont work......well....okay. I am okay with that........so far so good on the ones I really want to work.......so go........relax..have a beer for me..........I am amazingly calm and at peace.....just call me grasshopper
