Was trying to catch up as i am eating lunch. Been moving guineas around all day, they sure dont like being caught. Tried to tell them they are going to a bigger & better place--- for some reason they still want to fight the move! In 3 hours i only moved 8 birds!!!! But it is mainly due to the fact I am putting a few in a cage & listening for the boys- girls. Putting bands on the girls legs, very fun day @ my place. Dh is working late @ rent houses so kids & I will be eating leftovers after cheer practice. Then going to the bookfair @ school. Pretty sure I am Not going to want to cook after I finish going through these birds & at the rate I am going I won't finish the birds today.
Those look like some fancy chicken pens! We only have one pretty coop- and that was from when we lived in town. Now coops are functionally & not fancy. Don't think I could ever convince dh that my birds need a pretty pen. Maybe I could tell him prettier pen makes prettier eggs????
Hated to read about the chicken chasing dog! Mine don't think chickens are very fun, but when all 3 of mine are together they like to play guinea chase sometimes. Guineas are much more fun since they spend the day running in circles chasing each other. The dogs want to play chase too. I bought a set of shock collars that can be controlled with a single remote. Now chasing guineas is no fun. I have never caught my dogs chasing birds on their own, only something they will do when they are all together.
