For a really good guinea fowl color chart, look here: http://www.guineafowlinternational.org/colorchart/. The one keet with several stripes on its head is definitely a pearl gray, the others look like the "teddy bear" keets and should feather out almost identical to the pearl grays. They are very unlike slate keets. Having only a slate that is probably a male, I may not get any slates this next season, but it is possible.

Got all the birds gathered for the Blanchard sale. Leaving the 13 yr old home & deciede to bring 12 guineas. The guineas have a much nicer disposition than the 13 yr old. Bringing youngest DD & my sisters 2 kids.

Still leaves me with 50 guineas I believe. Think that will hold me over for a while. Unless I run across a color I don't have.

Was going to set eggs tonight, but then I realized I might get lucky & buy some eggs tomorrow @ the auction--- so I am waiting patiently.

i saw the mate of flash go over to where her feathers were and just scream like crazy, do they mate for life?
