***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Yeah I was thinking about layering the corn in an old dish in damp paper towels. When I had my conures, the seed they had would sometimes sprout, sometimes not. I know some of the seed mixes are treated with stuff to make them not sprout, and on the advice of someone in a different thread, I washed the seed mix before soaking it just in case.

We started a few trays of lettuce, tomatoe, bell pepper and green beans in small buckets, and potatoes in 5 gallon buckets for the winter. I know the birds will enjoy them and the turnip greens from whats left over of the turnips I put out for deer bait.

They ARE real. At the Wild Animal Park in San Diego, the wild boar and the meer cat? I think that's what he is.... Anyway. At the park the cages for these two animals are right next to each other. Disney artists and writers spent a lot of time at the WAP doing sketches, taking photos and videos, and researching. If you ride the tram around the park, you'll see the hill that is in the opening scene of the movie. We were lucky enough to witness a herd of antelope rushing over the hill. It was identical to the scene in the film, only better: because it was real.

We are north of 29th street. We have Red Jungle Fowl and Guineas. We plan on breeding the jungle fowl and selling them, but also come spring we are going to get some egg layers. I just bought a chicken coop from a guy off of pot road yesterday. He said he also makes coops that are 10 feet long x 6 feet wide x 4 feet high for $175 I plan on getting one in the spring for the egg layers. What kind do you have?

Motivation huh?

Lets see did you get your roof done on your coop? You can't have more chickens without a roof~

I'm sure you are more motivated than you think! Look at you, you are a mom, you work 40hrs a week, you go to school! That alone is more than most!

Several OE Bantams, and Sebrights. Sold off all of our large fowl over the last few weeks. Will be re-adding bantam wyandotte in Black, Silver Penciled, Columbian, and an un-disclosed secrative variety seldom seen in the US.

If you need some Pens come give us a visit, I can show you what we use and how they are built. I am also getting rid of our older 10x10 pens that were subdivied into 10x5s. They will be rather cheap if you would be interested in them.

Do you plan to show your Jungle fowl.
