Les, that reminds me of one growing up... i guess i was about 8, we were traveling from San Diego through NM in June, pulling a trailer with our stationwagon- so we get halfway through the White Sands Missile Base, the car breaks down, so my dad catches a ride to the other side of the base, there we sit in our trailer with 2 dogs in the heat, my mom notices someone walk by the trailer, a highway patrol, seems they had closed the highway for a missile launch, so we get in the patrol car - 2 kids, 2 dogs and mom, go to the opposite end of the base, meanwhile dad is stuck on the other side, because they 'lost' the missile they launched....

a metal seeking missile,

we were sure the car and trailer would be history.... they were okay, not sure if they ever found the missile

ok...where did i hide the coffeepot?
