Good morning Okies!

Making a list of what needs to be done and trying to figure out which project to complete first around here. Gotta get ready before the really cold weather hits. Had 4-H last night and Girl Scouts this evening, this is definitely our busy week. Have to find time to sell Christmas wreaths for our 4-H fundraiser. Maybe DH can take the form to work...anyway, hope everyone has a great day!

You should consider a spring fundraiser of selling Broiler Chicks...(Welp will make a good deal as a 4-H fund raiser and drop ship for you) You can also rasie several broilers through the 4-H program for teh competition in the Tulsa State Fair, they auction them off by the pen at the end and some sold for almost 4K last year.

I guess since I left my homework here last night, I need to spend some time this afternoon doing it.

But what if I don't wanna? Oh yeah. I don't wanna doesn't work for college students OR working adults, huh? I'd rather design the mythical coop renovation.

That story about the metal seeking missile made me snort my coffee...

What's the weather like in TN??

Anyone got any handy dandy new ideal's for winter time?

I have my list of things to get done but haven't started yet.

I was feeling pretty low last night and told James that the reason I never get anything done is that I'm too darned lazy.

I neeeeeed some motivation slung my way. Just motivation, please... no manure, thanks.

Those would be a little harder to back up...
I wouldn't want to pass one of those on the highway...I don't like passing a one trailer semi-truck....call me scardy-cat.

Going into Shawnee later today to pick up feed at SS farm center....need 10 bags of layer pellets, 2 scratch, 3 med chick/broiler starter and 2 oats....should get out of there for under $190 if the prices haven't gone up.

Oh! I did do something this morning...

I divvied up 2 cups of the bird seed mix that my mom got me and rinsed it really well. Poured it into a quart jar and filled it up with water. Will let it soak until later, then will pour it out, rinse it again, and put it in something to sprout. Just to see if it will. I left the corn to soak until tonight (24 hours) because it was dried and needed to rehydrate in order to sprout.

Corn sprouts pretty easily in damp paper towels. And my lovebirds get a mixed seed diet and make birdy soup all the time in their bathing bowl...when I pour it out, the seeds sprout easily also.
