***OKIES in the BYC III ***

This "design the new coop" business isn't working. I just don't seem to have the head for designing stuff. I'll just tell him I want a box. With a door. A run attached. Some random stuff.

I just don't like A frames and so many coops look so complicated. I may have to build that box and start there.

The Chick Chair....lol I sure hope it works. I thought it had spraddle legs, but it appears to have the tendon slipped off on both legs. it has bendy straws wrapped around it's legs stuck through the holes. I hope it makes it!

Robin,
the small red seeds that look similar to a BB are Milo, they have very little feed value. Cracked corn, or wheat is much better in feed value. We often found that by purchasing a bag of cracked corn, a bag of wheat, and a bag of Black sun flower we had 150 lbs of scratch for less than we could buy it for as scratch and did not have the waste of teh Milo.

ahhh, ok, will do that on the payday, they will eat all of the mix in scratch, but if its basically of no nutritional value, that will change

Here are a few pics I took this week of my niece and nephews some are obviously edited. This is the niece w/ the medical issue.

I wish people were as easy as insects!!!!!!

Well, tonight I caught a chicken snatcher. This dog has been running the neighborhood for as long as I've been here and Ive seen it get my chickens more than once no matter what I do. Well this time it got into the fortress and couldn't get out before I caught it. But now what? Logan county sheriff said to shoot it. But one of the neighbors pointed to the house it belongs to. But it's eaten other neighbors chickens bEfore and they haven't penned it up :-/
What do I do?!?!

In almost every area of Oklahoma, a dog harassing livestock is a menace and should be penned up or put down. They didn't pen it up. Time for the triple S.

Shoot. Shovel. Shutup.
