Here are a few pictures of the pair, can anyone tell me what they are? They are 7 months old and weigh about approximately half a pound a piece with the male the heavier of the two.

has had a warm bath and tums added to their water, am I crazy for naming my house chickens? How long should it take before I know if it helped he or not?

Ok, now that I know what they are,

how do they differ from Serama's? She has been an egg laying machine, until this week that is! They are my house chickens:love

they are much much larger than a serama... Also very different body carriage, not as vertical.

Oh Robin, I'm so happy for you

And what beautiful birds they are, too! You've really wanted some of those and I'm glad you're getting them.
Me, my husband,my daughter and my 72 yr old mother spend all day finishing the 10'x20' pen and the 4'x4' coop that goes in it. It started pouring rain so all I had time to do was put a tarp over the top of the coop/house. But I did get my remaining 4 LF Cochin pullets put in it. The 3 cockerals are in their original pen and coop. I wasn't going to leave the boys with the girls long term anyway and the 4 girls are my absolute favorites. I'm going to put 200% into trying to save these remaining 4 girls, they're not showing any signs on being sick from the e. coli yet although they normally don't until it's too late. So they're way back behind the house now away from all other chickens on 'virgin' dirt. 2 sides are 6' tall pickets and the other 2 sides are 2' corrugated tin panels on the bottom with 4' welded wire fence along the top-thought it up myself lol So it's 6' tall all the way around. I'll get it covered with cotton knotted poultry netting in the next 3 wks. The turkeys had been going to go in here but for now I feel better having my 4 most favorite ones off away from everyone else. Lots of bleach and lysol and separate shoes. This is the pen I'm planning on adding onto. It went really well. Here's a picture but it was getting dark. The girls are locked up inside their coop, it's on 1' legs. I'm sure they're not impressed with the smaller size and tarp for the top after their previous big coop. But they're safe.
