They had adds in the local papers. It was a good swap and sale. Swap from 9 to 12 and then the auction. Had quite a variety. I had posted mine on here for $20.00 a pair and they brought $40.00 to $42.00 at the auction.

Was it a one time deal. Or is it going to be an on going thing.

I believe it is a monthly event.......

I took some silkied serama out to Blanchard last night and saw Michael D. there unloading a load of some really interesting things...there were two old time Singer treddle sewing machines....both my grandmothers had one just like them (so did my mother). Its what I learned to sew on back in the last century. I grew up wearing 'home-made' dresses (we were poor). Nowadays they call them 'hand-crafted' and only the rich have them. Also saw an old wooden ironing board with lots of patina...nice items for a collector. Michael said that I haven't been posting much lately so here are some chicken pictures.

Silkied serama are required to have this type feathering on the wings and tail...our standard calls for 50% normal feathering to hold the serama silhoutte and up to 50% shredded.

If you need a pen I have 3 10x10 divided in half so each one is 2 5x10's. I will take 50 each... You will need a trailer I will help load. That should solve your pen problem. So buy as many as you would like.

Good Late Morning Everyone!
Just finished texting Al and talking to Jerry. We have a big table in the back reserved for BYCers at Blanchard tonight. Planning on taking a bunch of birds to cut the numbers down for winter. Really wanting to pare down to just the basics, keeping in mind next year's breed plans. Have a some cochins, a few roosters (don't we all), and a few odds and ends I am getting rid of.
Hope to see everyone there!
Now I need to get my butt in gear and get some work done.
