***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Lots of nice looking birds Okla-doodle-doo and Robin. I love seeing the pictures of everyone's birds. The kitties, too faerielady. Will try to get some good photos of my cats to post, too. I have a black and white cat (Oreo,) a solid white cat (Zero) and a Maine Coon (Big Kitty.) They don't bother the chickens at all. In fact Oreo avoids them. He won't even go out the back door because of them.

To the new folks - Welcome to the Okie thread!

LOL It seems like the biggest cats are the biggest 'fraidy cats of all!

Are the ragdolls similar to the Maine Coons? From the photos you've posted of yours, they look a lot alike. Big Kitty is such a sweetheart. He's very calm and lazy but will chase after mice when given the opportunity. He's afraid of loud noises though. He's kind of jumpy like that, but is a big fur ball of gentleness. He's getting up there in age now at 16 years.

Calm and lazy, but they don't have much of a prey drive (except Dreamer, she didn't get that memo), and they literally won't protect themselves, which is why they can't go outside. Pick them up and they are exactly like their namesake, a rag doll.

I wouldn't trade Rhodes for anything. Dreamer, I might make a deal on.

No, honestly, I prefer them to MCs simply because MCs have a habit of becoming one person cats, and Ragdolls are family pets.

Rhodes is 4 1/2, and Dreamer is 1 1/2.
