I have bunches. I raised a huge crop a couple of years ago, over 50. In fact I used a couple in a still life for my advanced students to draw today!
Even though the gourds are over 2 years old, I bet the seeds are still mostly viable. Are you coming to Shawnee?

Yes I plan to come to Shawnee on Saturday! I would love to have some! Okie's are sooooo kind, I was jumping up & down when I had a message from one about the gourd seeds (I still want them BTW), now I am spinning in circles!!!! (Don't ya'll wish you could see me now)

Isn't that a bottle gourd? My seed are probably too old. I ordered them from Park seed a few years back.

You are the second person to say bottle gourds. I am going to have a yard full of them next year! (I hope)

My Serama's comb is turning black on the edges. Today he isnt crowing in the morning like he usually does. He is acting normal otherwise. Could he be sick? I'm a bit worried What do you guys think? Any help is appreciated.

A black comb isn't good. Check his crop, is there anything there? Is he eating or drinking? What does his poo look like?

I'm not sure I can help but I can get information for when the smart folks show up.

Well last night his comb was black. I upped his grit this morning and his comb is allot better. I think maybe I wasnt giving him enough grit because he is so little I was afraid to. I have the smaller chick grit for him. He is eating and drinking fine. His poo was looking a bit runny last night. I will check it in a little while to see if it is becoming more solid.
