***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Atwoods has the 2qt rubber tubes (work great for watering my pairs, and trios) for 3.29 per. Bought several an hour ago at Clinton Atwoods but didnt make a dent on them. They must have just stocked up.

old*cowboy :

I have some awesome dark cornish bantams, and maybe a trio of KO Shamo for sale and can be delivered to Shawnee if someone is interested.

Old Cowboy, I just posted on the other thread asking you about a Dark Cornish bantam pullet. I'd love to find just 1 for the 1 pullet I've got. She's the sweetest little thing but lives with 3 white Silkies who only hang out with each other.
Oh yea-and the 2 qt tubs sound handy! I'll have my husband grab some of those, he works in Stillwater and they have an Atwoods.

Washing chickens today, and I'm EXHAUSTED!!

Why did I ever enter so many??? I didn't leave enough room to take as many sale birds as I meant too, either. The moral is, don't enter more chickens than you can wash.

Now I see I was doing it wrong!!! Floating a bar of Ivory in the water bowl didn't make them look any better but blowing bubbles for three days was kinda cool

Just kidding of course, the only birds I've had to wash were a few chicks with crusty tail feathers I don't envy the chore of washing them for show,

Just in case I miss the Ihop crowd where is the show being held at?

I showed a rabbit, pig and a colt at the Pott County fair in 1973 that was the last show I attended and the only on I was ever involved in so been a few days for me LOL I do remember that it was just off the Kickapoo Spur (something like that) I won first place and champion with the rabbit and the pig the colt was in the same lineup with the mother and wouldn't behave so neither one placed
