***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Ksane, so glad you like them! They're both this year's hatch, but I can't tell you exactly when. Some of the girls I brought are laying, some haven't started yet.

Got to the EXPO center this morning. I missed D Gibson, but had a nice visit with Betsy and Rebecca (Muesky)
Hubby and his brother were so tickled with the little d"Anvers rooster, they opened up about having banties when they were 6 - 9 years old.
So with Roger's encouragement, I went back to see if I could find a mate for LilGuy.
Of Course, by 9:30 am, the place was almost empty. All the d'Anvers were gone.
I did find this little pair of Spangled Old English for a good price. Hubby thinks they are great....I have him hooked now.
We spent the whole day, cleaning the barn, rearranging the wood shop and moving things away from the wall that will be moved to accommodate the expansion of my...er....our henhouse.

Congratulations on reaching the milestone

I plan on fighting it (age) to the bitter end, it may win eventually, but I plan on leaving fingernail drag marks the size of the grand canyon on the way!!!!!!!

rofl!! Nana, be careful-it seems the bantam bug is very powerful!! Congrats they looks awesome!!
I found out earlier I'm not getting my Faverolles pair after all, the breeder's had some rotten luck lately. But it may be a blessing in disguise because now I have room to make a 4x4 coop inside of a building with a 5x8 run for some Blue Modern Bantams! I'm in love. It seems the Bantam Bug hit quite a few people this weekend. (MJ?)

Ksane, some of the pullets I brought were in with hatchmates that included cockerels, but I'm not sure which ones were. It's possible eggs will be fertile. Good luck!

NanaKat, it was good to visit with you also, and sonice to hear your husband is enthusiastic about those neat birds you got for him.
