***OKIES in the BYC III ***

I love it and had to sing it all for my DH. He said it was sad that I actually know what all those birds are. Secretly he knows them all too but ask about the Campines!
I feel proud to be in a group of folks that know and appreciate birds, esp. Chickens.

I see the barrel behind the little pullet. Are you the one selling them on craigslist

Yep, that's me. I have made a bunch of them.

This is what happens when a sappy old woman gets ahold of a really gorgeous Brazilian Gamefowl and falls in love with him. Don't tell anybody but he got a bath and blow-dry, he'd be humiliated if word got out. He also got named 'Reuben' and is a perfect gentleman. I LOVE this bird! He's only about 6 months old. If his temperament with people is any indication of typical Brazilian temperament then I'm completely hooked.
I'm keeping them inside for tonight since they had baths and all. The little chocolate colored OEGB is curled up in the back of her crate sound asleep but this guy was up at the front of his talking up a storm at me so he got pulled out and held awhile. He's incredibly calm. Just look at that beautiful face! He's bright and shiny and the picture of health, he's my boy. My little Serama says that's fine as long as the big guy lives outside.

Oriental fowl should be that calm. As you saw today and got a photo of, i have some that will simply stand in my hand, cocks and hens both. I hope you enjoy them

I still can't believe he's mine every time I look at him. I've wanted a bird like this for so long. I'm glad you're such a wonderful enabler and I didn't end up waiting til spring lol
Poco, you would undoubtedly love one

Wow, what do you call that color?
Don't get me wrong, I still love round birds - Cochins, Orpingtons, Wyandotts... But Mitzi's entheusiasim (sp?) and all the colors everyone is posting is making me pay attention. Plus I was facinated by the Modern Games at the Shawnee show and am thinking about getting a couple.
