wheres all the trouble makers tonight? mitzi was here earlier, kass was here earlier, sooner was here earlier, now i got nobody to pester!


for anyone that is behind, kass had a girl this morning or last night. [well she delivered a girl].

mitzi gave channing gas, [probably not the first time she has given a man gas]

not sure what sooner was doing, but you can bet it was something mean!

New to forums and not really sure how they work. But I live in Coweta and my family is excited about going to the auction in our town. We started our flock about 8 months ago and love it. Never had chickens before. Looking forward to being more involed and informed on BYC's.

Ok Joe what is your trick to such a high hatch rate? O by the way great looking poultry barn

not anny trick really but hatch rate dose fall off in the weanter between the temps and the shorter days hatch rate always falls just a littel this time of year

and thanks i hope it works out as well as it dose in my head

If they were that good they be sold already.. there are always culls from all stock.. and some just breed from them and sell as that line regardless of actual quality because they don't know better.

my thoughts exactly carl, hate to see someone doing that. gives everyone a bad rap.

I agree, and there are birds here that cannot be bought.. Price isn't the point unless it would pay off the house.. well then you know that one bird could leave..

and the Okie thread. What kind of chickens do you have in your flock.

i have five chickens - not really sure of the breeds - I think three rhode island reds. I have one that lays a blue egg. My picutre has four of the five chickens, I have so maybe you could tell me what the breeds are.

Just checked with my old FFA teacher out in western oklahoma and he has 2" on the ground now
