Thats intersting I thought the asils where wheaton based this one had a duckwing chick pattern although light colored definetly stripped.

hi everyone, wanted to thank everyone for your prayers and concerns on our daughter, they had landed in Pittsburgh, safe and sound and some miracles on the way- had a flat tire, couldn't afford a new one, so when they checked at a hotel, the clerk pointed them to someone who couldn't help but said to check with another guy and that guy gave them 2 tires!

They have now met up with some church friends and will be house sitting for a couple months while getting settled...

The picture is adorable. How come your birds all look so clean??? I look out at mine and they're scratching in mud and rolling around in dirt and yours always look so clean lol

i guess the way they look at it is f it says "show quality" it is worth more.

Most folk looking for show birds at an auction are looking for trouble to start with. Hopefully if they are at an auction and are looking to buy show birds, they ahve someone there with them that can kind of mentor them through the process. I have seen lots of people buy birds at auction and other places and when told that these aint show quality reply "thats ok I dont show" but sad to say, maybe the people that they end up selling to do.

haha...the clean ones are not in the mud- you should see the banty flock...ewwwwww...... white silkie isn't white! they all need baths, this girl is in the spare bathroom tub, so she's clean- love her coloring!


i think at auctions like anywhere else- buyer beware- gotta know what a good bird looks like....
