I'm excited about POOPS! Put me down for one for now. That will probably change, though. I'll try to bring my grandkids and my DD might come too. Will know more as the date gets closer.

Have been super busy here lately trying to get things moved. What a pain that is, but the upside is that I'm getting rid of a bunch of stuff I forgot I had that I don't need. I'm hoping to get some coops built at the lake house later this week. It's supposed to rain, but my helper had to arrange time off to go, so we're going. We'll do what we can while dodging raindrops.

Well not much new going on in the chicken side here today so I'll post some pics of the new pigeons!

DH and I usually cancel out each other's vote. So do my parents.

That's what my great grandparents used to do. She voted straight dem and he voted straight rep, at least they were consistant

So I was reading up on crested ducks, I had no idea about the breeding the like resulting in brain less birds

and all the defects that can happen too. That's just awful. Why isn't that common knowledge? Even Storey's guide to ducks downplays the bad genetics, it just says about 25% won't live.... Missing an important part of the story yet again storey, thanks. No wonder my crested duckling is acting special, he probably is.

Started 32 tomato plants today.... I have a brown thumb, great with animals, awful with plants..... wish me luck.
