***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Went to my hathing guy this morning and picked up some chicks of mine that hatched. Here are pics. They are 43 icelandics,7 cochins and one ee bantam. .

Adorable, Icelandics are one of the ones that can have top knot feathers right? Do any of yours have them?

Gary took a couple of videos of me feeding the chicks and chickens dubias. If I can figure out how to post it I'll try but it may be a couple of days since I'm about to go to work.

We can candle your eggs from aubrey when you come by Friday or saturday to pick them up.

Have a whole bunch for you too. I placed the Black Coppers in a different tray so they can be marked. They will be ready to pick up tomorrow.

I'm not counting mine....if they don't lay, they don't count!

You catch on soo quickly.. I say that no young bird counts, no bird that doesnt lay count, any bird that might not stay does not count, birds headed for freezer camp dont count, I think if everyone will apply these rules they will quickly realize they dont have many they can count.

So you may have all figured it out by now, I'm going to work late today, used some time to read through and catch up a bit. Wanted to say hi to everyone.
I have had so many chicks hatch off here in the last 7 days and more coming today and tomorrow. Been real busy with making space and getting them lined out. I was scheduled off today and tommorow but too busy there too so decided I would go in at 7 instead of 5, problem is that will give me a 16 day straight run with no days off.
It was getting so bad and I was getting so far behind that I came home to find some good friends of ours over here with thier tractor brushhog, lawn mowers and weedeaters to cut my grass and clean things up since I had not had any time. I really enjoy things like that it's great to have good friends.
