just got back and settled- AWESOME!!! Kudos Coral!! yes it was hot- but well worth it to meet you all! came home with a trio from betsy... here are the pullets, they are so sweet!


i'll post more pics in a bit, also got a gorgeous showgirl roo for them

Joe! I love those gl cochins! sweet as can be... and Bfrancis, i think the little game hen will be perfect for my serama roo, he is making eyes at her in her cage next to his.... once it cools down i'll go get more pics.... well worth the hard work Coral!

It was a lot bigger actually than I thought it would be. Coral, I wanted to talk to you to tell you what a good job you did. It so sucks that the PA guy couldn't make it. I would've dearly loved to stay longer but all I could worry about was getting the birds settled in.
HannaWren-your husband has excellent taste LF Cochins will always be my all time favorite breed. The pair I got are huge, I still can't believe my good luck finding a Brown Red in this breed.
Joe, the Araucana babies talked the whole 2 hrs home and everyone's settled. The babies are inside in a brooder. I didn't feel comfortable having them outside yet until I build them something to go into. The Araucana adults are what I'd call tame, that's for sure! And even the LF Cochin pair-you reach for them and they just stand there and let you pick them up. I seldom buy adult birds from other people that are tame like this. Pretty cool.
