***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Does anyone know of a heavy egg laying EE breeder in the Tulsa area that might have some Pullets for sale? I was wanting to add a couple to my backyard flock.

It's too late, Rabbits or Chickens in general aren't the gateway drug but, Cochins on the other hand are completely covered in feathers...
Now you see the real connection to other furry addictions like bunnies or guinea pigs

I know, I currently have more than 100 birds if you don't use chicken math adn count all those FUZZY chicks in my garage. I now have 2 EEs, 2 Aneraucanas and 3 La Fleche too. Where did that side addiction come from? Smooth legs are cool looking too. I also almost got a couple NN chicks from Elie Mae. I will have some of them too some day, after I get the Wheaton Ameraucana's pen settled. I blame it on all of you!

I know nothing!! Other than chickens are a gateway to "Other" birds I bought a couple of peachicks from Carla and Gerald one is getting bigger than the other and growing something out of the top of it's head, I'm hoping the size difference might be an indication of different genders, And I've been considering some NN's as well, I don't even know who to blame that on LOL

Hi all!
Haven't been on the board since day before N.E.O.C.S. Took me FOREVER to catch up!

Was so excited about going and meeting people face to face and looking at all the beautiful birds. Wanted to get some rumpless Aracuanas and Hooda chicks from banjoejoe. However, I got called out on an emergency and ended up working a double shift at the police department and not getting off until 7 a.m. the morning of the meet. Both shifts were really busy so when I got home I slept until about 3 that afternoon.
I have enjoyed seeing everyone's pics they have posted. Sorry to see some of the people I enjoyed seeing post are not here anymore.

Went to Branson this weekend. A little get away for just me and the hubbs. My oldest son and his friend were sitting outside last night and the chickens started going crazy. When he went to check, there was a skunk in the pen. By the time he got in the house, got a 22 and went back out, the skunk was gone. Think I will set and wait to see if the critter returns tonight. Been needing to do a little target practice.

Afternoon my feathered friend tenders!!! Do or have any of you attended a huge auction in Pryor on the first Saturday of each month. Considering going, hear there is lots of stuff there including chickens and such! Lynn
