***OKIES in the BYC III ***

I have sooooo many Blue rosecombs here there will plenty for him too. I think somewhere around 250. I do need to let some go..

Well Nathanael HAS to build a new pen before he adds any new breeds. He has 4 big rabbit hutches with birds (1 with his OEGB family it was a momma and her 4 babies who are ALL roos of course, 1 with his Opals who are now laying about 3 times a week, 1 with Mr. Red his original roo and Mr. Silver who is the one you gave him the first time, and 1 with his Colombians) He wants to take his Little Tykes Castle and transform it into a coop but we need to figure out how to attach the hardware cloth to the plastic.

Where in the world do you find liquid smoke? I've looked in the spice aisle, baking aisle, condiments aisle and with the barbeque stuff.

Think you should find liquid smoke near Worcheshire sauce. It is always on the top shelf at the commissary. Assuming it is there @ other stores. It is a small bottle, and doesn't stand out. Hope you can find some. We use bunches! Between jerky, brisket & egg dip liquid smoke is a must have @ our place!

It's usually with the marinades, Worcestershire sauce, BBQ sauce that kind of stuff

Anyone have peachicks for sale you know of? Have the one little chick and it is get very lonely - added a pair of hens with it but just not the same.

Our first set of eggs that hatched last week- this is at 8 days old! BTW I am very puzzled at the white one with the speckles, it hatched from a cuckoo maran egg but is VERY different from the black cuckoo maran chicks. I know nothing about chicken genetics. Anyone have a guess what it really is? It has a definite single comb. The other cuckoo marans chick have something else- I'm new to this- either rose or pea comb? What are they supposed to have? The all white chick is the sole ameraucana that hatched out of 3. Got all 6 eggs at NEOCS.

I can't shed any light on your chicks identity, but they are cute. I had 3 to hatch from eggs I got at neocs. Mine are being raised by a broody mom, woo hoo it is awesome my first time w/ a broody mom chicken doing all the work and I like it! lol
