***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Morning folks. It appears all my teenage birds survived the night in their outside coops. Now I just need to get the coop and pen for my NN built. I'm headed to work now.

Woke up this morning to the wonderful sound of chicks peeping.

Oops! where is the calendar? Yes, it has been about 3 weeks since I put the eggs acquired at POOPS into the incubator

I have some that I forgot to write down on the calendar so I go check every few days...... Congrats on the hatch.

well, my silkie is still setting, so i guess she is serious... hmmmm what do you guys do with all your chicks???

oh..... was looking at orpingtons- got a request to do one from a fellow in England- is there a difference in the looks of the english version and the american version? they are beautiful birds... gosh i can't get every bird i like but i think i am going to have to relly look at who to keep so i can have some others...arggg
 
sorry Robin, yes I got your PM. I have babies & they are bantams, won't know for sometime male or female by then you will have one.
 
Not long ago, I read somewhere that someone added bleach to the incubator water, and it greatly helped his/her hatch rate. I don't remember the amount of bleach. Does anyone know about using bleach in incubator water?
