Hope you get your rat NaNa! They can sure make a mess. I had one build a nest in my trucks air filter compartment, chewed all the insulation out and brought in a whole buch of trash! Luckl;y I found it before any real damage was done.

Hiya... :)

I'm actually from Wichita Falls, TX, but was born and raised in Oklahoma. :)

I live about an hr south of Lawton.

Is there anyone in the Lawton, Duncan, Comanche, Walters area that has fertile eggs? I can't seem to find any... I need some hatching eggs, but I don't want to have them shipped. :)

King's Feed had chicks but sold out yesterday morning. They will get more on March 5th.
- Cinnamon Queens, Buff Orpingtons, Asterlorps and one other breed; all pullets and only $2.50 a chick.
- Cuckoo Marans; pullets $3.50 a chick.
This is second hand info. so I might have got some of it wrong.
Good prices compared to Atwood's and Tractor Supply.

Hey Donnie candled the white rock bantam eggs tonight all 12 showed eye and blood vessels all over them already!so on track for a good hatch!

hey guys, does anyone use lime in their runs? was reading there are 2 kinds, one is caustic and one isn't, hubby got some at the feed store called hydrated lime and they said they use it with the horses all the time- would it be safe in the runs- the duck run in particular is pretty bad

and here's a pic of josie and the baby, just too cute not to share

We sold the hydrated lime when I worked for Dolese at their masonary warehouse and some people use it to absorb the moisture out of the ground or mortar mix. As for it afffecting the birds I do not know anything about that.
