I vote party at MJs house!!! Yeah!!! Just find it a name that isn't poops & you can do anything you wish without over stepping. Lmk what you want or need & count us in!
Do you want an auction or raffle? I know for poops it was for funds to help with food & such.
Or do you just want it to be casual, with no planned events. Either way the girls & I will be there. I understand not having a bunch of events. What about doing something after lunch, like 2-5 so we don't have to have a meal, just bring a finger food???

Clouds and thunder just showed up here!

I was walking around the yard earlier and thinking about POOPS. Would there be any problems if we held a Mini Poops at our house? We have an acre and a large shop with a bathroom in it. There is parking in our yard and the food could be in the shop. It wouldn't be anything special; just bring your own food for a potluck and chairs and stuff to swap or sell if you have some. I wouldn't care if only a couple people came. We could have a picnic and visit and talk about birds.

My birds are in a part of the yard that could be 50 yards from any birds that people brought. Whould that expose them to any possible problems?

It would probably have to be in May though.

I just really want to get together with anybody that loves chickens and celebrate.

The auctions are fun but they aren't really like a party.

Awesome idea! I'll bring food. Let me know what else you need. I'd love to make another chicken that lays a plastic egg. The pattern is on my sewing table, smiling at me : )

Maybe there's an acronym that would be used that's close to POOPS. PIPPS, PEEPS, CHEEPS... #2?

Many of us desire to have POOPS, however the orignal poops founders have not planned an event, or given the green light for someone else to take over. MJ has offered her yard & shop bathroom for a chicken get together. Nothing official yet. Just looking to see who is interested I think. So anyone interested please speak up.

k thats what i thought was going on , well mj knows im interrested , we can all were our old poops shirts from past poops since they cost so much to make although would be nice to get a new one , since i didnt get to attend last year ;(

yep, i have, and they have always taken them in with no problem

emily the one legged game hen is hatching an egg tonite, i hope i guessed right and grabbed the mille fleur hens egg...

This has been a rough week, lost my silky buffy, then that nite lost a serama to egg issues i think, then went into the coop today and one of the laying hens was gone will a bloody egg in the box...

and here are the two chicks i had bought for the 'once was broody silky' only i got home and she quit on me... i'm hoping they are bantam cochins
