Ok so I am up to 14 chicks with 10 still ordered. I was looking at the 3 clean legged ones and think they look like OEGB what do you think. If they are I don't want to keep them

MaryJo twisted my arm and blackmailed me and is holding eggs hostage so I will go to the auction tonight... No actually she said she was going and I begged to go along!! So we will be there.
That is so not fair you are using your granddaughter to get chickens for you.. But good idea, now if my daughter will just have me a grandchild...

What I might be looking for tonight... Dorkings, Isbars, maybe English Orps and Marans. I might look for a Cochin for my granddaughter unless somebody wants to bring an egg or two for me to hatch for her...

Doh! I wish I'd thought of that. If anybody had wanted good laying eggs, I could have brought some baby Bumpers! You guys say something next time and I'll load up.

Oh, and if tposts come up and I'm not there yet, somebody snag them for me, up to $3.00/post. I need to start another pen to separate Floyd and Orlando, and there's no way I can put a SFH into a breeding pen in good conscience. I have to swing by to pick up the grandbabies first, so I'll be running a few minutes late.

Did someone say blue chicks?? Here is one picked up yesterday. It is a feather legged bantam I'm thinking Cochin but not sure. It's beak has 2 different colors on it that looks pretty cool.

I also got this one. Want to guess what it is

Both look like Bantam Cochins to me. A Splash (or Lav like MJ said) and a Black.
I picked up Seramas from Junebug and have them ready to bring to Greenbeetle tonight. (Thank you, June!!)
I'm excited to see my little Barred Rock babies I caponized last weekend )
