***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Hey all, I know I'm new on here, but I thought I'd vent a little on here. Today at noon my mother-in-law called me while I was at work. She was panicking and told me my father-in-law was in a very bad car accident and was being life-flighted to a hospital in the nearest big city. I immediately went cold because my dad died in a car accident in January, and he was only 47. We are on the road driving home now. So far, we have found out he has a broken shoulder (seatbelts really do save lives!), broken ribs, and part of his neck is shattered. He also has bleeding on his brain. Please, keep him in your thoughts, or prayers. I don't know how we can bear both losing our dads right now.

Im so sorry for your loss and I wish your father in law the best. Ill always and forever miss my dad. I hope your father in law has many more years ahead of him.

That's undoubtedly how the bacteria is getting into her foot. Right through the feather follicles.

The duct tape doesn't stick to their feathers. I wrap plenty of gauze around their foot 1st, the duct tape sticks to the gauze and to itself.

OK, that makes sense. So how can I keep this from coming back if she has feather follicles on the bottom of her foot? Is this normal? I can't find any info on it anywhere else on this site.

Definitely not normal and most likely the source of the bacteria. Hmmmmm.

May GOD be with your family during this time of crisis. Praying for good hospital care for your father-in-law, and a speedy recovery.

Vanahjean your father in law and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Kass, I believe that is my favorite design among all the quilt designs I've seen you post.

Now, everybody else is in trouble because I hold you all responsible for this! This is Harley and Buttercup; I picked them up at the aucton tonight for my granddaughter's birthday present. The problem isi couldn't get them sexed until after I bought them, and I may need to rehome poor Harley unless I can figure something out.

And it's all y'alls fault for showing all those cute bun pics! Now, just try to see these two without going d'awwwwwwwwwww.

Wow the top one looks like it has a straight line down its face! Looks like a bilateral gene thing. Pretty awesome! And the bottom looks like a little bear cub :love Those are some cuties!

Buttercup has some tiny ears!

And two of our new babies....a day old Bantam Delaware and a new Coturnix quail that popped out an hour ago.
