x2Ashtree....Oxine is an antifungal, antiviral, and antibacterial. It is great as a preventative. While it may be helpful with a bird already exhibiting symptoms, it will not heal the problem. I use Oxine and keep it on hand for treating drinking water, disinfecting and treating eggs before incubation. You cannot use Oxine with other products because it will cancel out their benefits.
x2I use Oxine year round unless I'm using the drinking water to treat for worms, etc.
Oxine can be purchased by the gallon on Amazon.com and can be shipped by Fed EX.
The coat has really worked. Rudy has been out this entire time. He still doesn't like it at all, but I think if he knew it was either the coat or stuck inside he would pick the coat.
