I have several ameraucana roosters. Arnold and Andre, my two black ameraucanas are huge, both almost 24" tall. I have a ameraucana x maran and he is not so big. The one thing about EEs and ameraucanas is they are hefty, solid birds. It always amazes me when I pick them up, how heavy they are. Unlike my big fluffy butted cochins which are powder puffs comparably speaking.
Okay so I am now the owner of a bunch of naked necks. A neighbor down the road had a bunch he needed to get rid of and I offered to take them for him, but I am not a NN type of girl.
No, showgirls do not count as naked necks because they have black skin, so there.
There are two roosters who are really big. One looks to be blue/red and the other is red/black. There are I believe 7 or 8 hens and about 10 -12 chicks of various ages. It looks like at least one or two of the chicks are frizzle NN, although most of them appear to be red, there are a couple of white ones. Of the hens, most of them are red but there is at least one or two cream colored ones. I may keep on hen to scare my city friends when they come over, with stories of radiation or chemical exposure mutating chickens,
but the rest are going to Cement with me, along with some extra EE I do not need.
So this means I am bring the truck, which I did not want to do but there are really too many birds to haul in my little prizm, no matter how I pack them.
Looking forward to seeing everyone. I am not really looking for or need anything except building supplies for chickens and home but that has never stopped me from buying before.
