Hello peoples! Wow NaNa I never heard of anyone putting metal in the microwave before, even under water!

Boy what a day for us! Wifes car apparently blew the water pump on the way home last night! So we pared it in a safe place and picked it up today. But not without problems. We decided to use a uhaul dolly, well they wouldn't let us because of weight restricyions,so we had to rent a car tyrailer,of course it cost more! Got to the car,got it loaded and a tire on the trailer immediately goes flat! . Calle duhaul and it took 45 minutes of repaeting directions over and over for them to get ahold of some one. Then it took an hour for them to get there. Finally got the car to the shop. I had taken two rats and two pigeons and dropped them off on the way to pick up the trailer. So after dropping it back off I decided to go by and pick up my money, not expecting more than 3 or 4 dollars. Surprise The brought $21 all together! I went in and check as the sale was still going on and apparently it had been the biggest in several weeks! And I missed it! Dang. So now I am bummed! I am also tired of vehicles breaking down. This is the second water pump(different vehicles) in as many weeks!

Boy Betsy you all must be in the raccon capital of the state!

I am on a commercial shoot today...guarding the two stars of the spot..Magoo and Squirt the racoons. You may have seen them in the eyeglasses commercial where the lady is calling for her kitty.

These are Hollywood racoons. They were chauffeured here from California by their handlers. In addition to the "here kitty" spot they also did the Wendy's commercial where the racoons go through the drive-thru.

Yes hay is scarce. But I have been finding straw pretty easily. Maybe you could use straw bales.

Straw was the suggestion and shoul dbe quite cheap and readily available

Sorry, I read it hurriedly and didn't makea the distinction. I'll look for straw.

Hilarious! Your place must be an entertaining spot to just sit and watch the animals.

Those are so cute! What breed are they? I'm sure your grand kids will love them.

They are just some non-show-quality Columbian Wyandottes, but they'll do fine for me and my grandkids. This evening I'm going to make a new pen just for them.
